Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, are making sure they don’t miss a single beat of the North Carolina Tar Heels season. Even with all the spotlight on them, the couple was recently spotted putting in the work on their off-weekend, heading out to scout some of the top high school talent in the country.
The pair was seen sitting in the press box on Friday night, September 25, keeping a close eye on the matchup between Archbishop Spalding and Gilman. According to reports, Hudson was right there by Belichick’s side the entire game, sporting a black baseball cap, sunglasses, and a sharp Tar Heel blue shirt. Belichick was spotted with a pen in hand, looking over notes on his phone as they evaluated the prospects. Since UNC didn’t have a game that weekend, it was the perfect opportunity for the coach to scope out future players, especially since Spalding boasts some serious top recruits. The two arrived well before the 7 p.m. kickoff and stayed until the end of the third quarter.
But it’s not just about the recruiting trail. Hudson has become a staple around the UNC program since Belichick took the head coaching job. She’s been a constant, supportive presence as he navigates this huge transition from the NFL to college football. Belichick has also been quick to defend her against what he calls “ridiculous” assumptions from the press, showing they are a team through and through. With a huge game against Notre Dame coming up, all eyes will be on the couple as the Tar Heels’ season heats up.
