England manager Thomas Tuchel says it’s impossible to replace Harry Kane, as the striker keeps breaking records. Kane scored his 87th international goal against the Czech Republic, moving closer to Peter Shilton’s appearance record. Despite his incredible form, Tuchel admits there’s no clear successor, noting that the team might need a decade to find one. He pointed out that while Ollie Watkins and Ivan Toney have filled the role before, they’re also in their thirties and were left out of the latest squad. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is nearing 30, and Liam Delap is the only under-27 English striker with a Champions League goal. To cope, Tuchel used Jude Bellingham as a forward, saying he likes him as a nine and that his natural goal-scoring instinct makes the position flexible.
