Charlotte Ayanna, the actress who played Ethan Hawke’s wife in the 2001 crime thriller Training Day, has been arrested after a bizarre incident in West Hollywood. According to law enforcement sources, she allegedly became violent and scattered cremated human remains inside a home. The trouble started when authorities were called for a welfare check at a residence. Upon arrival, they were met by an alleged victim who claimed that Ayanna threatened and attacked him before spreading the remains throughout the house. Things escalated when Ayanna reportedly kicked one of the responding officers, leading to her arrest on suspicion of criminal threats, elder abuse, battery on a peace officer, and improperly depositing human remains. Prosecutors have since filed three misdemeanor counts against her, including battery and elder abuse. She is currently being held on $50,000 bail. Ayanna, however, maintains that the arrest was unlawful, telling TMZ that she was never read her Miranda rights or given a chance to speak with authorities.
