Vanderbilt QB Shakeup: Curtis Out, Berlowitz Steps Up vs Georgia

Vanderbilt’s quarterback plans have hit a snag. Jared Curtis, the true freshman who once committed to Georgia, has been ruled out for their clash with the No. 2 Bulldogs. Veteran Blaze Berlowitz is set to make his third start this season instead. The decision came after pregame warmups, with Curtis having been limited all week due to an undisclosed injury from the Auburn game. For Georgia, star running back Nate Frazier is still a game-time decision after sitting out last week with a rib injury. If Frazier can’t play, Chauncey Bowens will likely take the lead in the backfield. Curtis, who’s thrown for 746 yards and four touchdowns this season, also added 133 rushing yards and two scores before getting sidelined.
