Rotherham United Snap Up Free Agent Brandon Williams
Rotherham United have signed full-back Brandon Williams on a permanent deal after he impressed during a trial period. The 26-year-old, who has played for Manchester United, Norwich City, and Hull City, was without a club since leaving the Tigers in February. He has been handed a short-term contract until January to bolster the team’s defensive options. Manager Alex Bruce mentioned that Williams will be gradually introduced to the first team, as he hasn’t played much recently. Bruce noted that Williams has been putting in the work in training and has shown improvement since his initial stint. The signing comes as Rotherham are light on defenders and facing a tough start to the League Two season, with Bruce under increasing scrutiny.
