Ivica Zubac left Sunday’s Pacers game vs Nets with an injury; here’s what we know
Pacers center Ivica Zubac went to the locker room in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Nets in Brooklyn after turning his left ankle when he stepped on teammates Kelly Oubre Jr. while going for a rebound. He is questionable to return with a sprained ankle.
Zubac posted two points, two assists and a rebound before the injury. He averaged 12.5 points and 13.0 rebounds in the Pacers’ first two games of the season, making 11 of 19 field goal attempts. Acquired in February from the Clippers in a deal that sent Bennedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson and several draft picks, including the Pacers’ 2026 first-rounder, to Los Angeles, Zubac averaged a double-double in each of the last two seasons and was named to the NBA’s 2024-25 All-Defensive team.
