No, the Lions have Sunday off on Oct. 18 in Week 6 of the 2026 NFL season.

The Lions (3-2, 0-0 NFC North) are enjoying a Week 6 bye this weekend. They will resume their regular-season schedule with a Week 7 game against division rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Oct. 25, at Ford Field in Detroit, with kickoff scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET (Fox).

The Lions won last week, 45-21 on the road over the 1-4 Arizona Cardinals that showed the best of this team’s explosive offense and some answers for a struggling defense. Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week after recording over 200 total yards against the Cardinals, while stars Sam LaPorta and Jack Campbell each anchored their respective units with dominating performances.

But just because the Lions are off, it doesn’t mean they won’t be working. In fact, with divisional rivals Green Bay and Minnesota each coming to Ford Field in back-to-back weeks, what the Lions figure out in their week off may determine if this team can make the playoffs.
