Bulldogs Fall To Clemson on Buzzer Beater
Georgia rallied from an 11-point second-half deficit to tie Clemson with 13 seconds left, but the Tigers secured an 82-80 win on a buzzer-beating layup Friday night in a preseason exhibition at Littlejohn Coliseum. Kanon Catchings hit a three-pointer to knot the game at 80-80, while Brady Dunlap added 16 points and Marcus Millender contributed 11. James Scott led the team with eight rebounds, and Millender dished out four assists. The Bulldogs shot 64.3 percent from the free-throw line, while Clemson made 75.7 percent of its attempts. Coach Mike White said Clemson executed down the stretch and that the team has much to learn from the contest.
