Trump puts Iran on notice with stark warning: ‘We’re going to do a number’

President Donald Trump signaled a breaking point with Tehran on Tuesday, telling the crowd at a rally in Alaska that the U.S. has “had it” with Iran and vowing to “do a number” to make sure the country never obtains a nuclear weapon.

“We’re going to do a number,” Trump said at a rally in Alaska.

“They’re just waiting. They’re waiting. Wait until you see what we do to Iran,” he added.

“Because we sort of had it, you know, we’ve had it, but, you know, it doesn’t matter.

“The big thing is they were not going to have a nuclear weapon. And they want what’s buried under thousands of tons of rock,” Trump said.

IRGC renames secret assassination unit after major intelligence setbacks: report

The Quds Force of Iran’s IRGC has renamed its covert overseas assassination unit Unit 600 and appointed former intelligence chief Mojtaba Hagh-Lesan as its commander, Iran International reported Tuesday.

The reorganization follows major intelligence setbacks, the compromise of its headquarters and the targeted killings of senior officers, the outlet said.

The unit has previously carried out several plots, including an assassination scheme targeting former U.S. national security adviser John Bolton, an attempted attack on former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and a plan to kill Iran International journalists in the U.K.

The unit has also relied on foreign criminal networks, gangs and local traffickers to conceal Tehran’s involvement in any attacks.

Iran targets ships conducting oil transfers near Strait of Hormuz, analysts say

Iran looks to be targeting commercial ships carrying out ship-to-ship oil transfers in and near the Strait of Hormuz to try and disrupt the flow of energy through the waterway, the Institute for the Study of War said Tuesday.

“Iran has increased its threats against vessels in the strait, likely to reinforce the Iranian threat to shipping and reestablish control over the waterway by deterring vessels from using non-Iranian-approved routes,” the Institute said on X, adding that Tehran may be developing its anti-ship missile capabilities to improve its ability to target vessels.

Mohsen Rezaei, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council also told state TV Oct. 10 that Iranian forces were striking an average of five “smuggling ships” every night, The Associated Press reported.

Israel-UAE security standoff keeps Dubai-Tel Aviv Flydubai flights grounded after terror plot

Flydubai service between Dubai and Tel Aviv remains suspended amid a dispute between Israel and the UAE over airport security upgrades and a probe into September’s terror plot aboard flydubai Flight 1073, according to The Times of Israel.

During the flight, an Omani copilot assaulted the captain in an attempt to crash the aircraft but was subdued by the captain and passengers.

Israel is demanding upgraded security screening at Dubai International Airport and on-site security agents.

Emirati officials have reportedly rejected the demands, delaying a planned visit to Dubai by an Israeli government delegation. The UAE has also threatened to withhold its full investigative findings.

“We won’t do what you want. You’re hurting our honor,” unnamed Emirati sources said of Israel’s demands. Israel, meanwhile, insists it will not rubber-stamp the investigation.

Major Saudi oil complex impacted by Houthi missile strike as attacks escalate: report

Saudi Arabia’s state-owned oil giant, Aramco, was hit by a ballistic missile strike Tuesday, sparking a fire and damaging floors of a tower as the conflict with the Houthis intensified.

Reuters, citing sources, reported the damage at the complex in Dhahran and which houses a major operations center overseeing a huge network of onshore and offshore oil rigs, pipelines, refineries and export terminals.

Later state news agency SPA confirmed that an administrative building had been targeted causing a “limited fire” and citing an energy ministry official. No injuries or deaths were reported.

The Saudi-led coalition said earlier Tuesday on X that debris from another intercepted ballistic missile fell in a residential area in Dhahran.

Additional drones and missiles were also intercepted and destroyed over the capital, Riyadh, and southern Saudi Arabia.

The Houthis had warned oil workers in Saudi Arabia to stay away from potential targets as Saudi forces struck Sanaa.

The Saudi-led coalition also warned civilians to avoid an oil depot on the outskirts of the Yemeni capital.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman warned Tuesday that the Houthis would face consequences for their repeated attacks on the kingdom.

CENTCOM fires back at Iran’s Hormuz control claim after threat to sink US warships

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) on Tuesday rejected Iran’s IRGC Navy’s claims of control over the strategic Strait of Hormuz, further disputing claims by Rear Adm. Ali Azmaei in a post on X.

“IRGC’s navy commander has no navy. American forces and regional partners clearly control the Strait of Hormuz. Just yesterday U.S. forces assisted Gulf partners in shipping more than 19 million barrels of crude oil through the strait,” CENTCOM said.

Azmaei had also threatened to destroy approaching American warships.

“We are waiting for American warships to approach the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz so that we can sink them,” Azmaei said on Tuesday, adding that Iranian troops were “counting down” to an encounter with the U.S. Navy.

“If the Americans want to see whether the Strait of Hormuz is open or closed, let them enter the field and see who controls it,” Azmaei said, according to state media.

‘Peace through strength’: Trump Gaza plan gains global backing one year on

A year has passed since President Donald Trump made history by brokering a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, setting in motion an ambitious peace plan aimed at bringing lasting stability to the region.

In the days and months since the ceasefire and Trump’s 20-point peace plan took hold, progress has drawn support from across the globe — including from unexpected quarters.

Senior advisor to the Board of Peace Josh Gruenbaum told Fox News Digital that the success of the last 12 months was largely attributable to President Donald Trump’s leadership and commitment to seeking peace.

“The unlock was somebody who came in, who really knew the file because they had the chance to study it and understand it,” Gruenbaum said.

Trump and his team, including U.S. special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, U.S. special envoy for Peace Jared Kushner and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, “created working relationships with regional actors with trust, overlaid with peace through strength,” while also forcing Hamas to finally understand that “this was either going to end the very hard way for them, or there was an off-ramp and a way to do this in a more dignified way, which is what the 20-point plan was.”

This is an excerpt from a report by Fox News Digital’s Beth Bailey.

US embassy issues fresh alert for Americans in Saudi Arabia amid Houthi strikes

The U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia issued a new security alert Tuesday, urging American citizens to exercise caution after Houthi attacks in the region.

Following recent aerial attacks targeting airports in Saudi Arabia, the U.S. government has restricted air travel for its personnel in the country, requiring all U.S. government employees working in Saudi Arabia to obtain special authorization from the chief of mission before using any airport nationwide, the alert said.

“U.S. citizens should be aware of potential attacks on airports, flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions,” the warning said, advising travelers to exercise “extreme caution” if they choose to use airports in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi-led forces intercept Houthi missiles as explosions reported near Aramco HQ

Saudi-led forces announced that ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis had been intercepted and destroyed Tuesday as sounds of explosions were also reported near Aramco’s headquarters in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

“Interception and destruction of a ballistic missile launched by the terrorist Houthi militia towards the city of Dammam,” Col. Turki Al-Maliki said in a post on X of one interception in Yemen.

Another missile launched by the Houthis toward Haradh, in northwestern Yemen was also intercepted, he said.

Al-Maliki, a spokesperson for the coalition-led forces, also said shrapnel from an interception fell in a residential area of Dhahran in Saudi Arabia and that authorities were responding at the scene.

The announcement came as Reuters, citing sources, reported that loud booms were heard near Saudi Aramco’s headquarters in Dhahran.

Saudi-led forces say Houthis used Yemen power plants, fuel sites to launch missile attacks

The Houthis have used civilian sites and resources to support their war effort in the region, Saudi-led coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Malki said Tuesday.

The sites, he said, include a power plant in Sanaa, underground reserve fuel storage facilities and tanks, and piers used to transport and unload fuel in Hodeidah, Sanaa and Dhamar.

“The terrorist Houthi militia uses these to directly support its terrorist military operations and deprive the Yemeni people of benefiting from these resources, which are supposed to be allocated to legitimately meet their needs,” al-Malki said on X.

Al-Malki also said the Houthis use the sites to fuel missiles and drones that threaten Saudi Arabia, airports, ports and commercial ships in the Red Sea.

Erdogan backs Saudi Arabia after Houthi attacks, pushes trilateral defense pact

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan voiced his support for Saudi Arabia on Tuesday after recent Houthi drone and missile strikes.

“We strongly condemn the attacks targeting Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on October 10 by the Houthis,” Erdogan wrote on X.

“Türkiye stands by Saudi Arabia and our Saudi brothers in the face of these attacks that are contrary to law and humanity.”

Erdogan added that Ankara is moving ahead with efforts to operationalize its trilateral security ties with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, saying work to establish the institutional framework for the Joint Defense Agreement signed by the three countries on Aug. 7 “continues.”

His remarks came as President Donald Trump suggested Ankara could play a larger role in diplomatic and military efforts to support Saudi interests.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Trump was asked about bringing Erdogan into the effort.

“President Erdogan, I think, would do as I ask,” Trump said.

Houthis claim Saudi forces launched 104 strikes across Yemen in 24 hours

Saudi warplanes and ground forces launched more than 100 airstrikes and missile attacks across Yemen in a 24-hour period, striking civilian infrastructure and causing casualties, a Houthi military spokesperson claimed Tuesday.

“During the past 24 hours, the Saudi warplanes conducted 104 airstrikes and missile attacks, targeting civilian infrastructure in the capital Sana’a and the governorates of Dhamar, Taiz, Amran, Lahj, Al-Jawf, Marib, Saada, and Hodeidah using F-15 and Typhoon aircraft that took off from Khamis Mushait and Taif airbases, and missile aggression from Najran, resulting in martyrs and wounded among civilians,” Brig. Gen. Yahya Sareea said on X.

The attacks bring the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks since the latest escalation to 2,281, Sareea added.

The announcement came as the Houthis also reported engaging Saudi fighter jets over Sana’a, while the Saudi-led coalition advised civilians to avoid an oil depot on the capital’s outskirts, signaling an escalation in the conflict.

Bipartisan group of senators push Trump to scrap Russia diesel deal, say it’s ‘betrayal’ of Ukraine

A bipartisan group of senators released a statement Tuesday calling on President Donald Trump to abandon the diesel deal he made last week with Russia, calling the pact a “betrayal of the people of Ukraine.”

Trump made the agreement in a bid to drive down elevated energy prices during the U.S.-Iran war.

“Granting Moscow the ability to sell Russian diesel freely in global markets damages American security interests and is a betrayal of the people of Ukraine, who continue to defend themselves from Putin’s murderous, illegal war. This deal is a gift to our adversary and a betrayal of our Allies; it should be rescinded,” wrote Sens. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Thom Tillis, R-N.C., Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., Susan Collins, R-Maine, Dick Durbin, D-Ill., Alan Armstrong, R-Okla., Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, Jack Reed, D-R.I., Chris Coons, D-Del., Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and John Cornyn, R-Texas.

“The senators urged Trump to instead take swift action to implement sanctions authorized by the recently passed Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act, which President Trump signed into law in September,” the statement continued.

“These authorities require you to apply economic pressure on Russia and the chief enablers of its war, in particular China, and thereby enhance your negotiating position to bring a swift end to this ruinous conflict,” the senators also wrote.

“We also recognize the urgent need to lower energy costs for American families and address the disruptions caused by the war with Iran,” the statement continued. “However, allowing Russian-origin diesel into global markets will offer limited to no relief to Americans. It will have a negligible impact on fuel prices, but the revenues the Kremlin will receive from this agreement will undoubtedly finance its desired war of attrition and advance its security cooperation with China, Iran, and North Korea. It will also endanger servicemembers operating overseas in support of Operation Epic Fury.”

Trump says he ‘may be doing something’ when asked if he will endorse in Israeli elections

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he “may be doing something” when asked if he will make an endorsement in Israel’s upcoming elections.

Israel is preparing to hold national elections on Oct. 27 for the first time since Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023, massacre and the ensuing wars.

Benjamin Netanyahu, who has cumulatively served some two decades in office, is fighting for both his political future and his legacy.

Trump defends diesel deal with Russia, says ‘world market suffered with high prices’

President Donald Trump on Tuesday defended a diesel release deal the U.S. made with Russia last  week, saying that “the world market suffered with high prices.”

Trump made the remark after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke out against the deal Saturday.

Zelenskyy wrote on X that “every additional billion dollars” that Russia can earn through energy exports “will be spent on nothing but sourcing and importing critical components and equipment to manufacture weapons, upgrading ‘shaheds,’ [drones], producing missiles, and recruiting even more mercenaries to fight at the front.”

When asked Tuesday if he received a guarantee that Russia wouldn’t use money it receives from the diesel to buy weapons to use against Ukraine, Trump said, ”Nobody told me anything. That’s a diesel deal. Not for us. That’s being released into the world. That’s not being released to us.

“That’s a diesel deal that’s going to be released into the world for the world market, because the world market suffered with high prices,” Trump continued. “And when you knock out diesel refineries, that’s not a great thing. But they’re not releasing that to us. They’re releasing it to the entire world.”

Trump says Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen are ‘behaving very badly’

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen are “behaving very badly.”

“The Houthis have acted very badly,” Trump told reporters outside the White House, days after the Houthis struck an airport in Saudi Arabia’s capital, killing 12.

Trump then took to Truth Social and wrote, “I thought they learned their lesson a year ago when we bombed the HELL out of them and, at their request, stopped.

“They’ve been silent for a long time, but now they’ve emerged again, probably at the behest of Iran, which is a Failing Nation, with No Navy, No Airforce, the World’s Worst Economy, and 301% Inflation, in a very nasty way, hitting Saudi Arabia, and purposefully trying to drive up Oil Prices, probably prior to the U.S. Elections — NOT NICE,” he added. “Somebody should explain to them that I’m not running in the Elections, I’ve already won, IN A MASSIVE LANDSLIDE, but I’ll be there after the Elections, and I will never forget!”

US Embassy in Riyadh warns Americans to ‘reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia’

The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh advised U.S. citizens on Tuesday to reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia, citing the “risk of drone and missile targeting of American interests by Iran and the Iranian-supported Houthis.”

“Following the onset of hostilities between the United States and Iran on February 28, 2026, there has been an ongoing threat of drone and missile attacks from Iran. Commercial flights are operational from Saudi Arabia, though they have been significantly disrupted at times,” read a message posted this week by the State Department.

“Reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia due to risk of drone and missile targeting of American interests by Iran and the Iranian-supported Houthis, armed conflict, terrorism, exit bans, and local laws regarding social media activity. Some areas have increased risk,” the message added.

The warning comes after King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was attacked by the Houthis of the weekend.

State Department says Trump administration, US ‘making real progress toward a demilitarized Gaza’

The State Department said Tuesday on the one year anniversary of the Gaza Peace Summit that the Trump administration is “making real progress toward a demilitarized Gaza.”

“One year ago today, leaders from across the world joined President Trump in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, for the Gaza Peace Summit to affirm their commitment to President Trump’s Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict,” State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott said in a statement.

“President Trump’s leadership ended a war that had no end in sight.  Since that historic breakthrough, a series of remarkable achievements have built the foundations for a new Gaza: an enduring ceasefire, the return of every hostage both living and deceased, the establishment of the Board of Peace and a Palestinian technocratic administration to run Gaza, and a fully costed recovery plan,” he added. “Humanitarian assistance has also increased so that food support is reaching more Palestinians, while Hamas theft of aid has dwindled.  These achievements, while remarkable, represent only the beginning.

Rebuilding Gaza will be an arduous, multi-year process, and implementation will be difficult,” he added. “But we are making real progress toward a demilitarized Gaza, where Palestinians can live without Hamas rule and Israel can have genuine and lasting security.”

Head of Britain’s MI5 spy agency says suspected Iranian plot to attack base is ‘not unique’

Ken McCallum, the director general of Britain’s MI5 domestic intelligence agency, said Tuesday that Iran has been trying to hit military sites in the United Kingdom and a suspected terror plot to attack a base used by the U.S. during Operation Epic Fury is “not unique.”

McCallum described how Tehran is seeking to intensify its attacks in Britain beyond the traditional targets of Iranians opposed to the Islamic authorities, according to The Associated Press.

McCallum said a “major shift this year has been Iranian ambitions to come at harder targets, like military sites.”

The incident at RAF Fairford “is not unique. There have been other examples, not just in the U.K. but around the world,” McCallum added.

Residents were evacuated from their homes near the base in southwest England on Sept. 27 as armed police officers and army bomb-disposal experts swarmed the rural area. Police later said they had found a quantity of an accelerant — gasoline — in three vans at the site, but no explosives.

Trump suggests US might have gone ‘too far’ in targeting Iran’s leaders

President Donald Trump suggested Monday at a rally in Ohio that the U.S. might have gone “too far” with targeting the leaders of the Iranian regime.

“They got no ships, they got no nothing. They got no leaders even, that’s a problem, we might have gone too far with the leaders because we don’t know who the hell we’re dealing with anymore,” Trump said.

“Nobody wants to be the president of Iran. They have roll calls, ‘Who would like to be the president? Nobody. I don’t want it.’ We’re having a hard time figuring out who the hell to deal with to be honest with you,” he added.

Former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed at the beginning of Operation Epic Fury.

“They’re never going to have a nuclear weapon,” Trump also said about Iran, adding that, “You cannot let the number one state sponsor of terror have a nuclear weapon.”

Trump says he doesn’t believe China, Russia are helping Iran ‘at all’ during the war

President Donald Trump said late Monday that he doesn’t believe China and Russia are helping the Iranian regime during Operation Epic Fury.

“I see so many comments from the Radical Left Morons and Lunatics that China and Russia are helping the ‘wonderful’ Islamic Republic of Iran. If they are, it’s at a very low level, but I don’t believe they are at all,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“They have too much to lose, and we would know about it, and know about it very fast!” the president added.

The Wall Street Journal reported in September that Chinese entities allegedly supplied Iran with high-resolution satellite imagery of Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan before Tehran’s July 17 missile attack that killed three U.S. troops.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also has claimed Russia supplied Iran with satellite imagery of U.S. military installations in the Gulf.

Houthis threaten ‘swift and painful’ attacks targeting US if Trump joins Saudi strikes

Houthi rebels threatened a “swift and painful” response against U.S. interests across the Middle East on Monday if President Donald Trump joins Saudi military strikes against the group, AFP reported.

“If the US becomes involved in the aggression against Yemen, we will not deliberate over the decision to respond, rather, there will be a swift and painful response targeting the US and all its interests in the region,” Houthi political bureau member Mohammed Al Bukhaiti told the European news agency.

Bukhaiti also warned “all employees and workers at Saudi oil facilities and airports to stay away from these sites, as they have become legitimate targets”.

The threats followed the group’s deadly attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which killed at least 13 people and wounded hundreds more.

Trump condemned the Riyadh attack Monday, stating it was unacceptable.

“The Houthis are misbehaving very badly. They’re misbehaving very badly. No good,” the president told reporters at the White House.

Trump, who described the airport attack as “not acceptable,” also confirmed that he had spoken with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Meanwhile, explosions were again reported over Riyadh on Monday night, with the Saudi-led coalition saying it had intercepted a Houthi missile. The Houthis claimed another attack on the airport.

Bukhaiti had also told AFP the attacks were intended to warn the crown prince “that he can no longer wage aggression against Yemen from a safe position.”

UK says RAF Fairford terror plot ‘highly likely’ coordinated in Iran, directed by IRGC

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said Monday that the September terror plot targeting RAF Fairford was “highly likely” to have been coordinated in Iran and “almost certainly” directed by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

“We will not tolerate these threats on our soil,” Burnham said Monday in parliament.

“We will crack down on Iran’s use of criminal networks, using our full range of powers to target them and their funding streams, and we will bring further sanctions to restrict the capacity of Iran and the IRGC to do us harm,” he added.

The remarks came as the United States, Britain and other allies condemned Iran in a joint statement.

“The UK has also concluded this event demonstrates the IRGC’s continued willingness to project hostile activity beyond its borders through covert networks and proxy actors.”

“Any attempt by Iran to threaten, silence, intimidate, harass, harm, or coerce people on our territories through proxies or any other means is unacceptable,” the statement said.

Iran’s ambassador to Britain, Seyed Ali Mousavi, denied Tehran’s involvement in the suspected plot targeting air base after being summoned to the British Foreign Office on Monday.
