Sevilla Boss Backs Robbie Ure to Score Soon After Scotland Debut
Sevilla manager Luis Garcia Plaza has heaped praise on Robbie Ure following his first appearance for Scotland, saying the striker is on the right track to break into La Liga. Ure, who came on as a substitute in all four Nations League matches, hasn’t netted in seven outings for Sevilla since moving from Swedish side Sirius, where he was a top scorer. But Plaza was thrilled with Ure’s international showing, noting that his best performance for the club came just before the break against Barcelona. ‘It was great to see Robbie represent his country and he handled himself well,’ Plaza said. ‘His outing against Barca was his strongest yet for us. He’s adapted quickly from a lower league, and we see him as a player for the future who will keep getting better.’
