Pauly Shore Reunites with Richard Simmons Director for Spooky New Short Film with Nick Swardson

Pauly Shore and Nick Swardson are teaming up once more, this time for a horror-comedy short film titled ‘Remain Calm’. Directed by Jake Lewis, who previously worked with Shore on a short about Richard Simmons, the film takes a different turn with a creature feature. The plot centers on two gas station clerks whose night gets hairy when a government agent alerts them to a deadly creature that preys on anxious people. Joining them are Doug Jones, known for his roles in ‘Pan’s Labyrinth’ and ‘The Shape of Water’, and Kevin Keppy from ‘Smile’. The monster effects were done practically by Gorgazma, adding a tangible scare. Shore said he had a blast reuniting with Lewis, while Swardson jumped in because of his passion for horror and his bond with Shore. You can watch it online now, perfect for Halloween season.
