Kanye West Claimed God Told Him to Tell Kourtney Kardashian to ‘Not Hook Up With’ ‘Randoms’ Before Marriage

Kourtney Kardashian shared the dating advice she received from her former brother-in-law Kanye West on the latest episode of The Kardashians.

In the Thursday, October 22, episode of her family’s reality show, Kardashian, 47, was touring stepson Landon Barker‘s new home when he and his roommate started talking about hosting parties in the space.

When the mother of four asked husband Travis Barker‘s son Landon, 23, and his roommate where they’d hook up, she added, “Honestly, just wait until you get married. That’s my advice. Don’t waste your energy.”

A producer for the show — right in front of Barker’s son — then asked the Lemme founder whether she and the Blink-182 rocker waited until they tied the knot in 2022.

“No, but I remember Kanye told me, ‘I feel like God is calling me to tell you that you should not hook up with any randoms until you are with your husband,'” Kardashian replied. “And I didn’t.”

Landon reacted by jokingly exclaiming, “Ew, guys, gross!”

West, of course, was married to Kourtney’s sister Kim Kardashian from 2014 to 2021, welcoming four children — North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7 — together during that time.

Kourtney and Travis, meanwhile, started dating in 2021, shortly before Kim filed for divorce. The two got engaged just a few months later, before having three weddings in 2022. They later welcomed son Rocky, 2, in November 2023.

In addition to son Landon, Barker also shares daughter Alabama, 20, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler and is a father figure to Moakler’s daughter with Oscar De La Hoya, Atiana, as well. Kardashian also has three children — Mason, 16, Penelope, 14, and Reign, 11 — with ex Scott Disick.
