Oct. 4, 2026, 5:09 a.m. ET
The DSN era begins today for the Detroit Red Wings.
The Red Wings (0-1-0, 0 points) host the Winnipeg Jets (0-0-1, 1 point) on Sunday, Oct. 4, at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. The time of the game is 1 p.m. ET and, for the first time in Red Wings history, the channel will be Detroit SportsNet, with streaming available on MLB.tv and Fubo.
The Red Wings officially announced their move to DSN in September, weeks before the start of the regular season, after finishing their time with FanDuel Sports Network Detroit at the end of the 2025-26 season. The Red Wings are sharing a channel with the Detroit Tigers, as both are owned by Ilitch Sports + Entertainment, with DSN run by Major League Baseball.
Stream Detroit SportsNet on Fubo
Detroit’s first game of the season, a 2-0 loss to the New York Rangers on Friday, Oct. 2, was televised nationally on TNT. DSN aired Detroit’s last two preseason games, but not without issues as many fans complained of outages while using the MLB app.
But with the preseason out of the way, fans hope that both DSN and the Red Wings perform better on Sunday.
Here’s what you need to know about Sunday’s game.
