‘Dancing With the Stars’ returns amid Val Chmerkovskiy’s suspension – USFTB

Several days ago, for the first time in its two-decade history, ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” suspended one of its professional dancers. And on Tuesday night, the show had to address the incident.

“As you can see, Alan Bersten is with Jenna Dewan, because Val is not with us this week,” co-host Alfonso Ribeiro told the audience at the top of the episode after the celebrities and pro dancer pairs were introduced.
