CJ Carr, Notre Dame Roasted on Viral Signs by BYU Fans with Mike Evans, Meatball Sub, Playoff Memes – USFTB

In honor of College Gameday‘s first visit to Provo in 17 years, BYU fans went all-out with their signs to showcase ahead of the marquee showdown with No. 2 Notre Dame on Saturday.

Some examples of the BYU’s signage included an image of CJ Carr throwing a meatball sub; a photoshop recreation of Mike Evans’ viral moment except this one with a BYU and Notre Dame player; and mocking the Fighting Irish for skipping a bowl game last year after missing the College Football Playoff.

The last time ESPN’s signature college football preview show was nearly 17 years ago to the date on Oct. 24, 2009, when BYU hosted TCU. That game didn’t end well for the Cougars, who were defeated 38-7.

BYU has moved up to No. 8 in the AP Top 25 poll after a 5-0 start this season. Notre Dame, currently ranked No. 2, has won each of its first six games of the season by at least 11 points.
