Nashville SC heads north for its second consecutive away trip, facing CF Montréal at Stade Saputo at 12:30 p.m. CT on Oct. 24, with the chance to secure the MLS Supporters’ Shield.
First-place NSC can clinch the Shield with a win or draw in Montréal, having already wrapped up the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference following a 1-1 draw with San Jose. Nashville SC is seven points away from equaling the all-time MLS points record, with three matches to play following its trip to Montréal.
While NSC is in the midst of a record-setting campaign, Montréal has been among the worst teams in MLS this season, sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference and winless since September. Montréal saw action midweek, falling in penalties to Forge FC in the Canadian Championship final, a non-league match.
