Roma sporting director Tony D’Amico spoke to reporters in the minutes before kickoff for Roma vs. Genoa.

“To face certain competitions like Wednesday’s, we’ll definitely need to reach a certain level and add something in January.”

“We didn’t manage to do that this summer, but we’re working every day and will do everything we can to improve.”

“The boys will show us what we’ve seen in training and in the matches we’ve already seen. They’re quality players in whom we’ve invested heavily. We’re on a green streak, but we’re still maintaining a core team. This is the mix we wanted.”

“Our policy is to acquire strong players, the second is that when you acquire a player there are various options. We would always like to have the option of retaining loans.”
