Arkansas is set to square off against Vanderbilt in Nashville this weekend for the first time since the 2011 campaign. Kickoff between the Razorbacks and Commodores from inside FirstBank Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, on ESPN2.

– Saturday’s matchup will be the 11th meeting between the programs and the first since 2018. Arkansas leads the all-time series 7-3. The Razorbacks have won all four meetings at Vanderbilt in the series, defeating the Commodores 31-28 in the most recent meeting in Nashville on Oct. 29, 2011.

– LB Ben Bogle has led Arkansas in tackles in each of the previous two games with nine tackles last week against No. 15 Tennessee and 16 tackles during a Week 5 matchup at Texas A&M. He became the first Razorback to lead Arkansas outright in tackles in consecutive games since Jaheim Thomas led Arkansas in tackles during the first four games of the 2023 season. The Ponte Verde, Fla., native leads Arkansas in total tackles with 44, including 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.0 sacks, through the first half of the season. Bogle has also recorded a team-leading two pass breakups and a fumble recovery.

– K Max Gilbert made a career-long 55-yard field goal in last week’s loss to No. 15 Tennessee. It marked the longest by an Arkansas kicker since K Matthew Shipley’s 55-yarder against Ole Miss in 2024. With the make, an Arkansas kicker has successfully converted a field goal of 50 or more yards in each of the last six seasons (2021-26).

– WR Chris Marshall has led the Razorbacks in receiving yards in each of the first six games this season. He is the first Arkansas receiver to accomplish the feat since Anthony Eubanks (9 games) in 1996.

– Arkansas has scored in 64 consecutive games, which is the sixth-longest streak in program history and the longest since a 64-game streak from Nov. 14, 1987, to Nov. 11, 1995. The last time Arkansas was shut out was on Oct. 2, 2021, in a loss to No. 2 Georgia.

– DL Quincy Rhodes Jr. leads Arkansas with three sacks this season. The North Little Rock native returned a fumble 58 yards in last weekend’s contest with No. 15 Tennessee. The 58-yard return was the longest by a Hog since Kam Curl’s 69-yard fumble return for a touchdown at Ole Miss in 2019.

– WR Chris Marshall leads the SEC and ranks third nationally in receiving plays of 10+ yards with 27 this season.

– The Razorbacks’ 239 consecutive extra-points made streak, which began on Dec. 5, 2020, is the longest streak nationally by date.

– The Razorbacks’ last matchup at Vanderbilt was a 31-28 win on Oct. 29, 2011. Saturday will mark 5,467 days since the Hogs last played at Vanderbilt, the longest drought of facing an active conference member in that timespan at their respective stadium in program history since Arkansas initially joined the Southwest Conference in 1915. Texas A&M, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas were not active SEC members when the teams last met in Nashville.

– Arkansas has already recovered more fumbles (4) than the entirety of last season (3). The Razorbacks currently rank 22nd nationally and fourth in the SEC in fumbles recovered this season.
