Nushrratt Bharuccha is back in Mumbai for spine surgery after a serious accident in Bali left her with a spinal fracture. The actress was flown home in an air ambulance, and videos have surfaced showing her being taken away on a stretcher, looking worried and in considerable pain. She was in hospital clothes, with a small tube in her nose and an IV drip on her hand. Her team released a statement asking for privacy, saying, ‘We request everyone to respect her privacy at this time and allow her the space to focus on her treatment and recovery. We are grateful for everyone’s concern and good wishes.’ The accident happened while she was in Bali for a work commitment. She had extended her stay by a few days and sustained the injury. She was first hospitalized there before being transferred to Mumbai. On the work front, Nushrratt has joined the cast of Tiger Shroff’s next film, which will be their first on-screen project together. The film also stars Pashmina Roshan, Abhishek Banerjee, and Elvish Yadav in key roles. It marks the producing debut of Viccky Jain under his banner VJ Frames. Nushrratt was last seen with Sohum Shah in the comedy thriller ‘Ufff Yeh Siyapaa’.
