Dodgers Game 2: Rojas Starts, Muncy Moves to Bench

The Dodgers are keeping their lineup almost the same for Game 2 of the NLDS, with Miguel Rojas taking Max Muncy’s spot. Rojas will bat eighth, just ahead of Tommy Edman. Atlanta is sending left‑hander Ray Kerr to the mound, and he is not expected to go deep after throwing 3.1 innings against the Phillies. Muncy, who homered in the first game, remains a threat off the bench against right‑handed relievers. Center fielder Andy Pages, who went 0‑for‑4 with three strikeouts in Game 1, needs to bounce back. Mookie Betts stays in the leadoff spot with Shohei Ohtani behind him; Betts reached base twice in his last regular‑season appearance. The Dodgers struck out nine times in the opener, and while Kerr isn’t a big strikeout pitcher, Atlanta will likely bring in its top relievers, making it tougher for the Dodgers’ bats.
