The Powerball jackpot continues to surge after nobody matched all six numbers on Saturday, Oct. 3.
With the top prize going unclaimed, the jackpot now grows to an estimated $467 million, with a cash value of $192.4 million, for the next drawing on Monday, Oct. 5.
While there was no jackpot winner, one ticket sold in Arizona delivered a seven-figure payday. The ticket matched all five white balls to win a $1 million Match 5 prize.
The rollover marks another step in the jackpot’s steady climb since an Illinois player won a $1.04 billion prize in August. Now, lottery players will have another shot at a prize nearing half a billion dollars when the next numbers are drawn Monday night.

How to play Powerball
Powerball tickets cost $2 per play and are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Depending on local laws, players may also be able to purchase tickets online.
To play, select five white-ball numbers from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball number from 1 to 26. Players can also add Power Play for an extra $1 to boost non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X.

To win the jackpot, a ticket must match all five white balls and the red Powerball. If no one wins, the jackpot rolls over and continues to grow.
