UPDATE: Anfernee Simons and Adem Bona are playing tonight. Dean Wade is sitting
Anfernee Simons signed a prove-it deal with the Philadelphia 76ers this summer but may have to wait to get started.
The ninth-year guard is questionable for Tuesday’s season opener against the New York Knicks with hamstring soreness. Pregame testing will determine whether he’ll play.
Simons, who split last season between the Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls, is a proven scorer but only commanded a two-year, $12.3 million deal. His contract has a player option, so he can cash in elsewhere if he provides enough offensive firepower off Philly’s bench.
Is Anfernee Simons playing tonight vs. Knicks?
We’ll know closer to tip-off.
Who is else is questionable for 76ers?
Sharp-shooting forward Dean Wade and center Adem Bona.
