SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Jail staff in Springfield confirmed to KATU that Evan Stewart was taken into custody around 7 a.m. on Sunday, October 18, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was released about an hour later to a third party, whose name matches that of another Oregon Ducks wide receiver. KATU reached out to the University of Oregon football program for a statement, but as of now, they haven’t responded.
