A.J. Brown, TreVeyon Henderson, and Will Campbell all practice in a positive Patriots report
FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots received some good injury news Thursday, as wide receiver A.J. Brown, running back TreVeyon Henderson and left tackle Will Campbell were on the practice field together for the first time since the start of the regular season.
While Brown’s status remains up in the air for Sunday’s game against the Jets, seeing him back on the practice field for the first time in more than a month is enough to spark optimism about a potential return to game action.
Brown, who is still on injured reserve, was listed as a limited participant with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Henderson (ankle) and Campbell (knee) — both injured in last weekend’s win over the Raiders — were also among the 12 players listed as limited.
Cornerback Carlton Davis (neck), defensive lineman Cory Durden (illness), and cornerback Karon Prunty (hamstring) did not practice.
Additionally, cornerback Christian Gonzalez (shoulder) and quarterback Drake Maye (shoulder) were full participants. Thursday marked the first time in two weeks Gonzalez practiced on back-to-back days; he’s missed the last two games was due to an injury sustained in last month’s 35-6 loss to Jacksonville.
As for the Jets, they had four players who did not practice: running back Breece Hall (quad), wide receiver Adonal Mitchell (finger), edge Joseph Ossai (ankle), and offensive lineman Dylan Parham (knee).
