Knee sprain sidelines Strawther indefinitely for Nuggets
Julian Strawther, a guard/forward for the Denver Nuggets, is out indefinitely after spraining his left knee in a preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. The team announced on Friday that he’ll be reevaluated in six weeks. Strawther was expected to play off the bench this season. Last season, he played in 57 games, averaging 7.2 points, and saw action in two playoff games before the Nuggets lost to Minnesota in the first round. The 24-year-old, who played at Gonzaga, was drafted 29th in 2023 and has started 18 games in his career.
