Ryan Garcia is looking to fight Teofimo Lopez next after his big win over Conor Benn last month. Garcia defended his WBC welterweight title by stopping Benn in the second round in Las Vegas, and he’s now discussing a fight with Lopez, according to Sky Sports News. Lopez, another American, holds the WBA welterweight title after beating Rolando Romero in August. Even though Lopez is supposed to defend his title against Jack Catterall, he’s eager to face Garcia instead. As for Benn, he hasn’t decided what’s next after losing to Garcia for the second time. His trainer Tony Sims says Benn won’t fight at welterweight again. Benn posted on social media that he’s taking a break, but he’s still being talked about for a trilogy with Chris Eubank Jr.
