An NFC East rival are plucking some depth at quarterback away from the Dallas Cowboys.
According to multiple reports on Friday morning, the Philadelphia Eagles are signing Joe Milton off the Dallas practice squad.
Milton competed for the No. 2 job behind Dak Prescott in training camp, but ultimately lost the race for the spot with Sam Howell to start the 2026 season before being added to the practice squad.
The move comes one day after Jalen Hurts was ruled out of the Eagles’ game against Carolina this week after a blood clot was discovered in his calf.
Following a Sunday night matchup in Green Bay, the Cowboys will travel to Philadelphia to play the Eagles on Monday Night Football next week.
More to come on this story.
