Khloé Kardashian Has a Name Picked Out for Her 3rd Baby. Name Expert Weighs In

Khloé Kardashian revealed that she has a name picked out for another daughter, if she chooses to have one.

Kardashian and her ex, NBA pro Tristan Thompson, share two children: Daughter True, born in 2018, and son Tatum, born in 2022.

On an episode of “The Kardashians” that aired on Oct. 15, Kardashian shared that she is contemplating having another child using the embryos that she and Thompson created together.

Kardashian revealed her conundrum in a conversation with her mom, Kris Jenner, saying that it was spurred, in part, by True learning about the embryos.

“I was on the phone and I was talking to the doctor. I said out loud… ‘She has a sister in the freezer.’ So now True is laser focused that she has a sister in the freezer. She’s told people,” Kardashian said.

True even came up with a name for the baby. “I actually love the name, so I think I want to use this name if I ever do it,” she said.

Kardashian said she’s not sure she has the “bandwidth” for another baby, but is “bummed out” at the notion that her daughter won’t have a sister.

“I do believe every girl needs a sister. I personally would love another daughter. But also, I’m getting older and it’s a lot, and I don’t know if this is something I can handle,” she said. If she does move forward, she said she plans on using a surrogate, like she did with son Tatum.

Kardashian previously told TODAY.com she’s ready to find her “forever person” and was open to expanding her family.

What Does a Baby Name Expert Think of Khloé Kardashian’s Naming Style?

Name expert Colleen Slagen describes Kardashian’s name style as “boutique athleisure.”

“The names are very cool and sporty and breezy, but they’re also modern, elegant,” she says.

Slagen says Kardashian’s naming style is a contrast to her older sister Kim Kardashian, whose children are named North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

“They’re not as obviously try-hard or head-turning or edgy as Kim’s names, which are completely word names,” she says.

There is one major similarity she shares with her family, though: Alliteration. Famously, Kris Jenner gave all of her daughters a name that started with “K,” beginning with Kourtney and ending with Kylie.

Khloé Kardashian is repeating the custom with True, Tatum and maybe, one day, Tyla Thompson.

“They sound like they could be famous,” Slagen says of the names.
