ATP Shanghai Best Bets Including Medvedev vs Tsitsipas

The 2026 ATP Shanghai tournament continues in China. This is a 1,000-point tournament and the heart of the fall Asian swing. It’s the last big tournament of the year in Asia before the ATP Tour heads back to Europe for the home stretch of indoor tournaments which precedes the season-ending ATP Finals in Turin. We have seen Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, who won the 500-point tournaments in Tokyo and Beijing, lose early in Shanghai. This is yet another 2026 ATP event in which the wider field has a tremendous opportunity make a big points gain. We have seen so many wide-open tournaments on the ATP Tour this year, due to Alcaraz being out for months with an injury. We already knew that Jannik Sinner is out for the remainder of the year with a bothersome knee injury he can’t seem to shake. Which players will take advantage of a fluid situation in men’s tennis? ATP Shanghai is a fascinating tournament to watch for that reason. LWOS has our best bets for three matches. Post your best bets and thoughts in the comments.

ATP Shanghai

Botic Van De Zandschulp – Rafael Jodar: 23:59 EST

H2H: 0-0

This ATP Shanghai match is not easy to call. Botic Van De Zandschulp is a clear underdog against Rafael Jodar according to the sportsbooks, with the Dutchman being priced on the moneyline close to 2.60 while Jodar is a 1.54 favorite. Yet, Van De Zandschulp is playing extremely well, having beaten Alex Michelsen and Arthur Fils in back-to-back matches. Jodar, though, is playing well too. He has beaten Thiago Agustin Tirante and Jiri Lehecka, two good wins.

Best Bet to Make

Welcome to our best bet section. You’re going to get a collection of bets to consider, also a confidence level which should guide how much you should invest in this match.

Parlay/hedge options: Jodar moneyline at 1.54 at @betfair

Confidence level on a scale of 1-10: 1 – You should not bet on this match.

This ATP Shanghai match feels like it’s going to be very close. You shouldn’t bet on it because it could break either way. However, if you insist on a bet, Van De Zandschulp keeps getting big underdog prices. The Dutchman to win one set is the play.

That being said, betting on Van De Zandschulp +1.5 sets is the best bet you can make

Value bet/ the best odds: Van De Zandschulp +1.5 sets at 1.65 at @betway

Casper Ruud – Felix Auger-Aliassime: 1:30 EST

H2H: 4-6

This ATP Shanghai match stands out because it has a well-developed head-to-head history. Most of the matches we look at have prior head-to-heads with no more than three or four previous meetings, but Casper Ruud and Felix Auger-Aliassime have met 10 times, with Felix winning six, including once earlier this year. Casper Ruud just beat Learner Tien in Shanghai, while Felix just defeated Pablo Carreno-Busta. Ruud might be in slightly better form. Will that offset Felix’s head-to-head advantage?

Best Bet to Make

Parlay/hedge options: Ruud +2.5 games at 1.68 at @bet-at-home, Auger-Aliassime moneyline at 1.71 at @betfair

Confidence level on a scale of 1-10: 1 – you should not bet on this match.

This ATP Shanghai match is a coin flip. Ruud is in better form but Felix leads the head-to-head and is known as a good fall season player. If you insist on a bet, over 2.5 sets is the play. One can easily see this going three sets.

That being said, betting on over 2.5 sets is the best bet you can make

Value bet/ the best odds: over 2.5 sets at 2.30 at @betway

Daniil Medvedev – Stefanos Tsitsipas: 6:00 EST

H2H: 10-5

This ATP Shanghai match involves a 15-match head-to-head history, with Daniil Medvedev owning a 10-5 lead over Stefanos Tsitsipas. Only one of the 15 matches has been played since 2024, and Tsitsipas won it. Medvedev usually has the upper hand, but Tsitsipas won the most recent meeting. Both players are in great form entering this match. Medvedev is 9-1 in his last 10 matches. Tsitsipas is 8-2.

Best Bet to Make

Parlay/hedge options: Tsitsipas +1.5 sets at 1.73 at @betway

Confidence level on a scale of 1-10: 4 – you should not bet more than half a unit on this match.

This ATP Shanghai match is not easy to bet on because both players are doing well. It could be hard to tell which player is going to rise higher in this match. However, Medvedev usually wins when he plays Tsitsipas, and he is not playing the Greek on clay, which is Tsitsipas’s favored surface. Medvedev is in great form, so it’s hard to bet against him here. He’s unlikely to lose two straight matches to Tsitsipas.

That being said, betting on Medvedev -2.5 games is the best bet you can make

Value bet/ the best odds: Medvedev -2.5 games at 1.80 @bet365
