Clavicular’s accuser drops sexual assault claims from civil lawsuit amid Massachusetts criminal rape case – USFTB

A woman who accused “looksmaxxing” influencer Clavicular of raping her at his family’s Cape Cod home last May has refiled her civil lawsuit and dropped the sexual assault allegations against him, a move her lawyer said was intended to avoid interfering with a pending Massachusetts criminal case in connection with the encounter.

Clavicular, 20, whose real name is Braden Peters, was charged last month with rape, drugging someone for sexual intercourse and procuring liquor for someone under 21 years old. He has denied the allegations detailed in the Sept. 8 criminal complaint filed in Orleans District Court in Barnstable County, Massachusetts.

Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, an 18-year-old influencer known online as Alorah or Alorah Ziva, alleged that in May 2025, while she was in Massachusetts, Peters called her an Uber to his family’s Cape Cod house. Once there, she said he got her drunk on vodka while they livestreamed on Twitch and then raped her, according to a criminal complaint from the Chatham Police Department.

The charges come months after Mendoza filed her original civil lawsuit against Peters in Miami, accusing him of sexual assault in connection with the events of May 2025. The civil lawsuit also separately alleged he injected her face with a non-FDA-approved fat-dissolving substance during a November livestream in Florida.

A source familiar with the matter previously confirmed to NBC News that the charges against Peters stem from Mendoza’s allegations.

On Thursday, Mendoza filed a second amended civil complaint in Miami-Dade County, Florida, removing the sexual assault allegations against him and scaling back the details of the alleged assault. The civil complaint also details allegations that Peters falsely represented himself as qualified to perform cosmetic injections during a November encounter, concealed their risks and misled Mendoza about what was being injected into her face.

“In light of Mr. Peters’ recent posts and other conduct, this matter is more appropriate for the criminal justice system,” Mendoza’s lawyer, Drew Moss, said in a statement, noting that the sexual assault claim was dropped “due to the pending criminal charges in Massachusetts.” “Ms. Mendoza does not want her civil case to interfere with that process.”

Mendoza’s earlier civil complaint alleged that Peters had sex with her after getting her so intoxicated that she was unable to consent. It also alleged that Mendoza woke up to find Peters having sex with her without her consent.

Peters’ arraignment in the Massachusetts criminal case, previously scheduled for Oct. 14, was canceled, according to the case docket. The next hearing date appears to be on Oct. 22.

The second civil complaint, however, no longer includes those explicit allegations of nonconsensual sex, instead stating that Peters “had sex with Mendoza multiple times while she was intoxicated.” It also does not include the original claim that Peters had sex with her while she was asleep.

Moss did not respond to additional questions about the decision or why an attorney originally on the civil case filed a motion to withdraw on Friday.

Peters’ spokesperson declined to comment on Mendoza’s latest civil complaint. The influencer has previously denied the criminal allegations and defended himself in a series of posts on X shortly after the charges were reported. The posts include a video of Mendoza calling Peters “super nice.”

Mendoza’s amended civil complaint still accuses Peters of battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, fraudulent misrepresentation, fraudulent concealment and unauthorized publication of name and likeness.

The amended complaint also alleges that in November 2025, Peters invited Mendoza and her friends to his place in Delray Beach, Florida, for a streaming session on Kick after they ran into each other at a networking event in Miami.

Mendoza alleged that during the livestream, Peters injected her with a syringe of Aqualyx, a fat-dissolving compound he did not reveal was not approved by the Food and Drug Administration, which he said would reduce fat in her face, without her consent, according to the amended civil complaint.

The amended civil complaint also provides more detail about the November 2025 incident, including that Peters allegedly knew Mendoza was a minor when he gave her the injection.

It also includes screenshots of livestream viewers’ comments warning Peters that Mendoza was 17 at the time. According to the civil complaint, Peters allegedly responded to comments about her age, defended their two-year age difference and proceeded with the injections.
